Active Living-Learning Community Continues Campus Fact-Finding

The Information Technology Living-Learning Community returned to the Center for Business & Workforce Development on Thursday afternoon, for another informative session hosted by Jeff B. Weaver, associate professor of electronics and computer engineering technology. Students gathered in the building's Cisco Networking Academy laboratory for a hands-on workshop on routing and switching in a data network; last semester, Weaver led the IT students through a demonstration of fiber optics. The Residence Life Office offers a variety of living-learning communities on campus, bringing beyond-the-classroom opportunities to students enrolled in the same academic majors.
