The Information Technology Living-Learning Community in Dauphin Hall took part in a social bowling program with faculty at ABC Lanes on Tuesday. About 16 students and three faculty members attended the program and got to socialize with one another outside the classroom in friendly competition. The program was a nice way for everyone to relax and have fun after a long day of classes, and students enjoyed seeing faculty Sandra Gorka and Jacob R. Miller, associate professors of computer science, and Daniel W. Yoas, associate professor of computer information technology in a social setting outside of the classroom. "A night of bowling, pizza and fun really show what it means to be part of such a great community," said Brian D. Walton, coordinator of matriculation and retention for the School of Business and Computer Technologies."This event exemplifies the social and educational goals that the living-learning communities were designed for." The Residence Life Office offers a number of living-learning communities on campus that bring out-of-class opportunities to students enrolled in the same academic majors. Photos by Matthew C.
