Camille S. KoromaCamille S. Koroma, a pre-nursing major from Reading, has been chosen as the December/January "Student of the Month" by the Student Government Association at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Koroma is a student assistant in the college's Connections orientation program and in the campus Fitness Center, a Resident Assistant in on-campus housing, a member of the Multicultural Society, and a participant in the Penn College Presidential Leadership Program.

"She is very active on campus, and has a great attitude toward students and life in general," her nominator wrote. "I have watched Camille grow as a person and in friendships here on campus. Students are always coming to her for help and for advice, and she is willing to be there for others ... no matter what time of day it is. She is a great and beautiful person, both in and outside of the classroom."

The Student of the Month is selected numerous times each academic year based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Nominations from faculty/staff and other students are strongly encouraged.
