Online Votes Crown Creativity in Card-Decorating Tradition

The Medical Imaging Club and Penn College's Human Resources/Employee Relations Office are the first-place winners among student groups and campus departments in this season's holiday card-decorating contest. Results were announced by President Davie Jane Gilmour during a lighting ceremony outside the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center on a blustery Wednesday evening. Other winners, determined in online balloting by 434 employees and students, were the Physician Assistant Club, second place for student organizations, and the United States Green Building Council, third. Among campus offices, the Academic Success Center placed second and third prize was awarded to Workforce Development & Continuing Education. Joining President Gilmour in the traditional event were student Katey E. Landry, who provided musical entertainment; Sara R. Hillis, assistant director of student activities for student services and involvement; and Gregory J. Miller, president of the Student Government Association.
