Cross-Country, Volleyball Make Grade in USCAA Academic All-American Team

Five cross-country runners and two women's volleyball players from Pennsylvania College of Technology were named United States Collegiate Athletic Association Academic All-Americans. USCAA Academic All-Americans must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher to earn the accolade.
For cross-country, seniors Corvin Oberholzter (Wellsboro) and Seth Beckman (Linden), juniors Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) and William Fuka (Clifton, Va.) and freshman Daniel Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) all made the cut. Oberholtzer and Beckman have made the team all four years and this is Cain's third straight year.
In women's volleyball, senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) and sophomore Rachel Heller (Allison Park) earned their spots. This is Smith's second straight year on the team.
