Pennsylvania College of Technology honored graduating members from the Wildcat tennis, men's soccer and cross-country teams during Saturday's Homecoming activities.
Tennis was honored prior to its match against Penn State Brandywine, while men's soccer and cross-country Senior Days were held during the men's soccer match against Penn State York.
Tennis
Rachel Emmons and Adam Groff were honored for tennis.
Emmons is a culinary arts and systems major from Washington, N.J. She has been a part of the Penn State University Athletic Conference tennis championship team for the past three years and has earned individual championships for women's doubles. In addition, she has earned PSUAC and United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Team honors.
Groff, a technology management major from Washington Boro, has been on the team for two years and has won the PSUAC Tennis Championships both times. As a rookie, he was a semifinalist in the PSUAC men's second-flight doubles.
Men's Soccer
Patrick Kehoe and William DeAngelo were honored for men's soccer.
Kehoe, a renewable energy technologies major from Oley, has been a four-year member of the team. During that time, he has helped men's soccer to three PSUAC Men's Soccer Championships and has been nationally ranked in assists and points for the USCAA.
DeAngelo, an automotive technology management major from Dallas, is another four-year member and also helped land the three PSUAC championships. His solid play in the midfield has ranked him second on the team in goals.
Cross-Country
During halftime of the game, cross-country runners Travis Cain, Corvin Oberholtzer and Seth Beckman were honored.
Cain, a heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis major from Bloomsburg, has been a three-year member of the team. He has earned top five finishes in three events this year to lead the Wildcats.
Oberholtzer, a four-year member of the squad, is a residential construction technology and management major from Wellsboro. He has earned top 10 finishes in three events this year.
Beckman, a building automation technology major from Linden, is another four-year member on the squad and has helped his team to two first-place finishes this year. All three were members of the 2009 USCAA National Runner-Up team.
