Students in Campus View Apartments sponsored a community-service project Wednesday to help local residents uprooted by recent flooding. The latest in an outpouring of assistance from the Penn College community, the on-campus residents pitched in with different tasks throughout the day, including making "snack packs" and cooking chili. The group then traveled to a park in Picture Rocks and boxed 100 hot dinners of chili, corn, crackers and cookies. More local volunteers joined the students there, and the meals were distributed in Picture Rocks, Glen Mawr and Sonestown. Photos provided by Ashley A. Smith Nicholas, residence life coordinator
