Two management seminars "Social Networking for Business" and "Managing Multiple Priorities, Projects and Deadlines" will be held Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro.
Dennis E. Gilbert, organization development consultant and president of Appreciative Strategies LLC, will be the featured speaker.
"Social Networking for Business," scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, will assist companies in using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Blogger to track competition and customers, as well as to reach out to prospects and potential new business.
"Managing Multiple Priorities, Projects and Deadlines," to be held from 1 to 4 p.m., will help participants improve job performance by examining effective ways to reorganize workloads and better manage time.
Gilbert holds a Master of Science degree in workforce education and development from The Pennsylvania State University and has dual degrees from Penn College: a bachelor's degree in technology management and an associate degree in computer science.
An executive, consultant and trainer, Gilbert's focus is on leadership development, communications and group dynamics. He has an extensive background in workforce development, business operations, manufacturing, sales, marketing, finance and information systems.
