Two Wildcats Named to All-Conference Softball Team

Amanda Baney Sabrina Reynolds Penn College sophomore Amanda Baney (Williamsport) and freshman Sabrina Reynolds (Muncy) were selected to the Penn State University Athletic Conference softball all-conference team, voted on by coaches based on play and statistics throughout the season. Baney hit .452 with seven home runs and 25 RBI, which led the team. Baney accomplished this even though she only played in 16 games this season, having been injured during a contest with Penn State Harrisburg. Reynolds, who also was named Newcomer of Year, hit .313 with three home runs and 16 RBI. Baney and Reynolds helped in leading the Wildcats to a 14-16 overall record and a first-ever berth in the 2011 United States Collegiate Athletic Association Softball National Championships in Akron, Ohio.
