Hornung Named Week's Top Baseball Player in PSUAC

Garrett Hornung Penn College junior Garrett Hornung (Emporium) was named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending April 17. Hornung hit .636 (7-11) with three doubles, five RBI and 10 runs. He helped the Wildcats to a 3-1 week, sweeping Penn State York and splitting with Penn State Mont Alto. This is Hornung's first PSUAC honor this season. He is batting .340 (18-53) in 19 games with seven doubles, 13 RBI and 17 runs. Next up,he will travel with Penn College on Wednesday for a conference doubleheader at Penn State Hazleton to begin at 2 p.m.
