Joiner Named Year's Top Basketball Player in PSUAC

Leroy Joiner Phillip Kaylor The Penn State University Athletic Conference named Penn College junior Leroy Joiner (Williamsport) as its men's basketball Player of the Year. The honor is voted on by all the PSUAC coaches. Joiner led the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding, averaging 21.5 points and 11.7 rebounds. He also was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American for the third straight year. The PSUAC also announced its honorable mentions for the All-Conference team. Named to the list was Senior Phillip Kaylor (Lebanon), who averaged 10.2 points and shot an impressive .593 (112 for 189) from the field.
