Four Penn College students medaled in Jujitsu Gi Grappling at a martial-arts tournament held Saturday at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Michael Wood (building construction technology) placed third and Logan Goddard (pre-physician assistant) finished fourth in the men's 175-185-pound class; Jack Foister (legal assistant/paralegal) finished second and Adam McDevitt (pre-physician assistant) third in the men's 200-240-pound class. "All of our athletes were originally entered into the Beginner/Novice division," noted Dr. William Urosevich, a volunteer coach and longtime former team adviser. "However, the tournament director placed all of our athletes into the more competitive Intermediate division, making Penn College's results more impressive." Other members of the Power Lifting Team are Stanton Baker, Cory Butler, John Crane Jr., Matt Davis, John Maurey and Andrew Salamak. Brian McKeon is the team adviser; the other volunteer coaches are Emmanuel A. Balaguer and Joshua Day.
