College Hosts High School SkillsUSA District Competitions

Penn College hosted District 6 SkillsUSA competitions Friday on its main campus, where vocational students from a number of area high schools went head-to-head in six hands-on categories. For several morning hours in college classrooms and laboratories, the students competed in Architectural Drafting; Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration; Masonry; Plumbing; Technical Drafting; and Welding. Winners will advance to regional competition.
