Brian M. McKeon, department head for natural sciences in Penn College's School of Integrated Studies, performs the role of "Phil/Gator Man" in "Duck Hunter Shoots Angel," which begins a two-week run Friday at the Community Theatre League, 100 W. Third St. In the comedy, written by Mitch Albom of "Tuesdays With Morrie" fame, two bumbling Alabama duck hunters think they've shot down an angel. In addition to the hilarity, the play features a surprise ending that few see coming. This is McKeon's third production at CTL in the past year; he appeared in "Cheaper by the Dozen" and "Bedside Manners." The show which also features alumnus James R. Carpenter (a 2007 graduate in computer information technology: internetworking application development concentration) as hunter Duwell Early will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12-13 and 18-20, and at 2 p.m. Nov. 21. (Due to "salty language," the play is recommended for mature audiences.)
