Career Services Provides Graduating Seniors Access to Top Employment Experts

The graduating college class of 2010, like the previous two graduating classes,is facing a challenging job market. According to a 2009 survey from the National Association of Colleges and Employers, only 19.7 percent of that year's graduates who applied for a job had one by the time they graduated. That's in contrast to 51 percentin 2008!

The National Association of College and Employer Association's Spring 2010 survey reported employers planned to hire 5.3 percent more new college graduates than they did the previous year. Based on the economy and conditions today, the Class of 2011 will also have to work harder and smarter to get the job they want.
