Graduation ceremonies were held June 21 for those completing the medical (office) assistant program at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro.
Eleven students completed the nine-month clock-hour training program that prepares students for employment in medical offices and clinics.
The students chose one of their instructors, Lucia Lajcsak, paralegal, as the speaker for the event. They also chose their classmate, Kristina Grant, to offer remarks about their experience as students.

At the completion of all requirements, students sat for the American Medical Technology exam for certification as a registered medical assistant (RMA).
