Sports Literature Association on Campus for Annual Conference

The Sport Literature Association convened on campus Wednesday morning for its 27th annual conference. The conference attracted nearly 50 attendees from across the United States and from four other countries, including program chair Julian Meldon D'Arcy, of the University of Iceland. Local host for the four-day event is Mark D. Noe, professor of English-composition at Penn College and SLA president. Among presenters slated for the event are Penn College's Babe A. Mayer, associate professor of fitness and lifetime sports, and Douglas M. Sherry, part-time instructor of sociology.
