Montoursville Area High School took home the overall trophy following the recent Plastics Experience, hosted by students and faculty in Penn College's plastics and polymer engineering technology major. During the daylong event, students from Central Mountain, Elizabethtown Area, Gettysburg, Hughesville, Jersey Shore Area, Loyalsock Township, Montoursville Area and Williamsport Area high schools spent the morning participating in hands-on activities and lectures in the college's plastics laboratories. In the afternoon, the students showed off remote-control cars they designed and thermoformed in their home schools during a "car show" and race. Teams were judged on their "car show" display, race results and answers to a set of technical questions. Seven industry representatives visited campus to judge the students' displays.
