Horticulture Instructor Reviews Landscape Textbook for Publisher

A member of Pennsylvania College of Technology's horticulture faculty recently reviewed a textbook in advance of an updated edition.
Carl J. Bower Jr., instructor at the college's Schneebeli Earth Science Center, reviewed the current edition of "Landscape Plants: Their Identification, Culture and Use" by Ferrell Bridwell. The publisher, Delmar/Cengage Learning, is planning the next edition and requested Bower's assistance.
Bower, who holds two associate degrees and a bachelor's degree from Penn College, earned his master's in education from Wilkes University. He has been a member of the School of Natural Resources Management faculty since 2006.
