Faculty Member Appointed to Editorial Board of Academic Journal

David L. EvansDavid L. Evans, professor of biology at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was recently appointed to the editorial board of BioScience.

BioScience is the monthly, peer-reviewed journal of the American Institute of Biological Sciences. AIBS is an umbrella organization for around 200 biological-sciences societies.

In his role, Evans will seek contributors and peer-reviewers for the journal, specifically in human biology. Evans' positions as a member of the editorial board and chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society will help facilitate that goal.

Evans holds a doctorate from the University of Illinois, a master's degree from Utah State University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. He previously taught at American University of Beirut in Lebanon.
