Continuing a seasonal tradition of honoring its graduating student-athletes, Penn College this week said "goodbye" to senior Lady Wildcat Lindsay K. Wiegand. Characterized by basketball coach Alison Tagliaferri (second from left in photo) as "an endlessly talented point guard with tremendous ball-handling skills and a deadly 3-point shot," Wiegand plans to graduate in May with a degree in emergency medical services. She was joined at midcourt by her parents, Howard and Kathleen Wiegand, Tagliaferri and (at far left) assistant coach Erica Logan during halftime of Tuesday's game against Penn State Hazleton. Also honored that night was senior Ursula A. Peterson, of Williamsport, an early childhood education major and member of the Wildcat Dance Team. A work-study student at the Children's Learning Center and a 2009 Homecoming candidate, Peterson was honored by coach Milissa Augustine for her campus contribution.
