Wildcats' Joiner Earns USCAA 'Player of the Week' Honor

Leroy Joiner, a sophomore on the Penn College men's basketball team, has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II Player of the Week for Jan. 10-17 – a first for Wildcat athletics. In two victories, Joiner averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4.5 assists. He leads the team in scoring this season with 228 points and has scored 720 thus far during his career. Joiner played high school basketball at Williamsport Area High School. In the Week 7 USCAA Coaches' Poll, Penn College is ranked No. 9 among Division II colleges.
