Students, Faculty Take Part in Correctional Health Fair

Penn College faculty and students from the dental hygiene and physical fitness specialist majors participated in a health fair at the Allenwood Low Security Correctional Institution. Topics covered were: oral health with Barbara K. Emert-Baldwin, instructor of dental hygiene, and four students; and Introduction to Functional Training, Health Risk Factors, and Cardio Exercise for Weight Loss with Judy Quinti, assistant professor of fitness and lifetime sports, and six students. "The two sessions of workshops were well-attended, and it was an educational afternoon for all," Quinti said. "The participants were full of questions and seemed to be appreciative of the fact that Penn College supports education in all walks of life."
