Professional Development Certificate Course to Be Offered

Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology will offer a noncredit Professional Development Certificate course on Wednesdays, Oct. 21 through Nov. 25, for those who wish to improve their on-the-job relationship, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Classes will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Center for Business & Workforce Development on the main campus in Williamsport. The cost is $399. A spring session will be held on Mondays, March 8 through April 12, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The instructor, Linda Williams, will lead discussions involving problem-solving, communication techniques, stress management, goal-setting, motivation and other related topics.

Williams founded Training Focus in 2000 and has been offering instruction through her business for the past nine years. Along with being a certified Master Trainer, she has an extensive professional background that brings a depth of knowledge to her training sessions.
