DUI Simulator Drives Students Down Road to Responsibility

Penn College, along with PennDOT, the Community Traffic Safety Project and The PA DUI Association, cosponsored a campus visit by the association's Safety SIMulator on Wednesday. The safe-drivingtool part of Alcohol Awareness Week at the college replicates varioushighway situations, including aggressive driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol. Students were able to experience the simulator and take home information on road safety and responsible decision making. The PA DUI Association has a new Web sitewith insight into the misconceptions and factsabout underage drinking; students may visit PennDOT's online safety sitefor impaired-driving information, too.
