Coach Chris HowardFor the second season in a row, Penn College baseball coach Chris Howard has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. During the recently completed season, Howard guided the Wildcats to a 28-3 PSUAC record and their second straight conference championship. Overall, Penn College was 36-9. "I'm excited. It's a great honor anytime you are recognized by your peers as the best for that particular year," Howard said. "I think one thing I've learned as a coach over the last three years is that you're only as good as your players. Winning Coach of the Year is a testament as to how good your players are. I really want to give it to the team. I hope I had something to do with it, but I had a great group of guys," Howard added.
