Seven Penn College Baseball, Softball Players Receive Postseason Honors

Five Penn College baseball players and two softball players have been named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Conference Team. Honored in baseball are pitchers Adam Thomke (South Williamsport) and Mark Shaffer (Hanover), first baseman Devon Liquori (Hawley), shortstop Phil Woodring (Waynesboro) and center fielder Dane Glick (Belleville). Penn College, under coach Chris Howard, went 28-3 in PSUAC play and captured its second straight conference crown. Penn College softball players cited were Lauren Fuller (South Williamsport) and Jamye Mease (Elizabethtown). The Wildcats, coached by Roger Harris, posted a 13-9 record in PSUAC action and finished second in the conference for the second year in a row.
