Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball player Craig Flint is flying high this week.
For his efforts last week in wins over Penn State DuBois and Penn State Greater Allegheny, he has been awarded Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors and also garnered United States Collegiate Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week honors.
Flint, a graduate of Port Allegany High School in McKean County, is a senior guard majoring in marketing.
In his game against DuBois, he scored 21 points. He followed that with a 24-point effort against Greater Allegheny that pushed his career scoring total with the Wildcats to 1,006 points. Through 12 games, Penn College is 7-5 overall and 5-1 in the PSUAC. For the season, Flint is averaging 14.9 points per game. In conference play, he is scoring an average of 21.5 points per game.
