College Honors Alumnus for Community, Volunteer Service

Pennsylvania College of Technology has presented Todd J. Fox, executive director of Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity, with an Alumni Citizenship/Humanitarian Award.
The Alumni Citizenship/Humanitarian Award recognizes graduates of Penn College (and forerunners Williamsport Area Community College and the Williamsport Technical Institute) who provide distinguished community or volunteer service. The award was presented to Fox during Saturday's December Commencement ceremonies at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.
Fox received an associate degree in business management from Penn College in 1998. He is a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Banking at Dickinson College and recently completed the first of four courses toward a certificate in fundraising management at The Fund Raising School, the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. While at Penn College, he was a member of Phi Beta Lambda, the postsecondary division of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda Inc.
Fox is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Lycoming. He is member of the Leadership Lycoming Board of Trustees and has served on the organization's Selection Committee since 2005.
He has been a John Bower Basketball Youth coach since 2003, an American Youth Soccer Organization coach since 2004 and an AYSO referee since 1995.
Fox has been an American Cancer Society volunteer since 2000 (serving as Corporate Donation Committee chair from 2004-07) and a Habitat for Humanity volunteer since 2006.
He was an active Kiwanis Club member from 1998-2004 and a South Williamsport D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) committee member from 2004-07.
Fox was a youth mentor at Watsontown Alliance Church from 1995-99 and is actively involved in family ministry opportunities at Greenview Alliance Church.
He and his wife, Lynn, have two daughters, ages 7 and 10.
Penn College also presents Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Awards, Alumnus/Alumna Achievement Awards and Mentorship Awards annually.
