Gallery at Penn College Reschedules Artist's Lecture for Dec. 5

The Gallery at Pennsylvania College of Technology has rescheduled a talk by artist Brian Bishop for 3:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in Room 1056 of the college's Student and Administrative Services Center.
Bishop originally was scheduled to offer talks during the opening reception for his gallery show titled "" in October, but heavy snow in eastern Pennsylvania prevented his arrival on campus.
Bishop attended the School of Visual Arts in New York. He earned a bachelor's degree from Memphis College of Art and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He recently exhibited his work at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery, the University of Delaware and Georgetown University. He is an assistant professor of art at Framingham State College in Massachusetts.
A benefit exhibit featuring the works of David Armstrong will open in the gallery, on the third floor of the Madigan Library, on Dec. 2. Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m.; and Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
