Pennsylvania College of Technology will hold a commencement ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 9, for the nearly 250 students who have petitioned to graduate from the college after the summer sessions.
The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the Community Arts Center, 220 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
Jasmine Elmore, of Jersey Shore, will be the student speaker for the ceremony. Elmore will receive an associate of applied science degree in emergency medical services from the School of Health Sciences.
During the ceremony, the college will present an Excellence in Teaching Award and two Mentorship Awards.
Degrees will be conferred by Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour, accompanied by Robert Secor, a member of the college's board of directors.
