Seventh-, Eighth-Graders Attend SMART Girls Workshops

A SMART Girl determines a Girls capture their memories in the occupational therapy assistant lab A participant practices balance and coordination via bean toss from a swing in the occupational therapy assistant lab Forty seventh- and eighth-grade girls spent Saturday learning the significance of science and mathematics during Penn College's spring session of Science and Math Applications in Real-World Technologies for Girls (SMART Girls). The girls attended a variety of fun, hands-on workshops designed as a springboard to careers in technology. A residential program for girls entering ninth and 10 grades will be held in July.
