Students Share Community Ideas at Chamber 'Town Meeting'

Gilbert A College Town "town meeting" was held Wednesday night in Penn's Inn, offering an opportunity for students to share thoughts about their community and to make recommendations for its future. The meeting was facilitated by Dennis E. Gilbert, a business consultant retained on behalf of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce's College Town initiative, and Jason C. Fink, the chamber's executive vice president. The session was co-sponsored by the Student Government Association as part of its regular meeting in the Campus Center. A follow-up meeting to discuss those student-generated suggestions will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, also in Penn's Inn. ( Photos by Jessica L. Tobias, student photographer)
