American Sign Language Class to Be Offered at North Campus

Did you know that 90 percent of all people who are deaf are born to hearing parents? Would you like to learn to communicate using American Sign Language? Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus will help you learn about people who are deaf, their culture and their way of communication.
The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, from April 8-29. Participants will learn to sign the manual alphabet, numbers, questions, verbs and common expressions. The instructor for the course is Janna Walsh, a certified language interpreter from Williamsport.
