Adults (55 and older) who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course being offered in March at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro.

The easy beginners' class, which is offered through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 14, and Friday, March 28, in the North Campus computer lab.

The instructor will lead participants through entertaining games, e-mailing friends and family, surfing the Internet, buying and selling merchandise on eBay, basic word processing for letter writing, and other enjoyable and practical applications.

No previous computer knowledge is necessary. The cost for the class is $75; coffee breaks are included.

The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield. Convenient, street-level parking is available at the rear of the building.
