Two faculty from the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology department recently completed Tyco Electronics' Netconnect Act I and Act II, a two-course sequence covering the installation, certification and troubleshooting of copper and optical fiber premises cabling systems.
Associate professors Jeff Rankinen and Jeff Weaver completed four days of intense training in terminating, testing and troubleshooting network cable plants used in offices, factories and many other types of industrial applications.
