Penn College students had a wonderful week in Kansas City, Mo., during the national SkillsUSA competition, according to faculty adviser Edward L. Roadarmel, assistant professor of drafting and computer aided design. Carl F. Gravely, of Arona, placed second out of 23 in Industrial Motor Control; Matthew E. Pfeiffer, Lancaster, finished second among 33 competitors in Diesel Equipment Technology; Westley A. Smith. Mifflinburg, placed eighth out of 35 in Welding; and Andrew J. Vorndran, Ontario, N.Y., finished 16th out of 33 in Collision Repair Technology.
