"Where Science Meets Art," an exhibit by members of the London-based Society for Art of Imagination, opened to the public in the college gallery, Madigan Library 303, at 11 a.m. June 22. At 7:30 p.m., in Room 1056 of the Student and Administrative Services Center, Brigid Marlin, the first person given an audience to paint an official portrait of the Dalai Lama, led a lively talk, sharing her experiences and some of the photographs she took during her trek to Tibet. Marlin, chairman and founder of the Society for Art of Imagination, spoke to a group during a pre-opening reception at the gallery June 21 and conducted a workshop on June 23.
