Tuition Bills Going Paperless for Fall 2007 Semester

Monday, April 23, 2007

Beginning with the Fall 2007 semester, electronic tuition bills (eBill) will replace paper bills for returning Pennsylvania College of Technology students. New students still will receive a printed bill, but returnees (and/or their designees) will access an online bill via the secure Student Information System.

"We are pleased to be able to provide students and parents faster, secure access to their tuition bills," said Robert M. Fisher, vice president for business affairs. "This is not only a more efficient process, but it should help eliminate a worry about a lost or missing important piece of paper."

The eBill will contain the same information as previous printed bills, with the added convenience of online access, immediate availability and up-to-date inclusion of all financial-aid funds.

How eBill WorksAn e-mail will be sent to each eligible student's Penn College account when the electronic bill is available for viewing and payment; returning students then can access eBill through the SIS' "View eBill" option. An additional online feature "Change Student Preferences" will allow students to opt for a printed bill.

Payment methods will remain the same with eBill: Credit cards for online, phone and in-person payments; checks for in-person and mail payments to the Bursar's Office/Student Accounts (SASC, Room 2098).
