North Campus to Offer Basic Computer Course for Older Adults

Adults 55 and older who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course being offered in March at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus near Wellsboro.
This easy beginner's class, which is offered through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. The class will be held on Wednesdays, March 21 and 28, from 9 a.m. to noon in the North Campus Computer Lab.
Instructor Harry Colegrove will lead participants through entertaining games, e-mailing friends and family, surfing the Internet, buying and selling merchandise on eBay, basic word processing for letter writing, and other enjoyable and practical applications.
The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield. Convenient, street-level parking is available at the rear of the building.
The cost for the class is $69. No previous computer knowledge is necessary. Coffee breaks are included. To register or receive more information about the class, call (570) 724-7703.
