Homecoming Contest Raises Nearly $2,400 for Make-a-Wish Foundation

Homecoming royalty, Kim Erdman and Tyler Wetzel, on the Penn's Inn dance floor This year's Homecoming competition raised an "astounding" $2,391.82 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Student Activities Office has announced. Crowned at Saturday's Homecoming Dance in Penn's Inn were Rose Street Apartments' Kim Erdman and Tyler Wetzel. The other top couples in the fundraiser were Brian Walton and Shannon Gibble from the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, first place; Michael Shippy and Abby Gjurich from PC Alliance, second; and Adam Barilla and Joy Chapman from the Society of Plastics Engineers, third. Winners of the banner contest were Student American Dental Hygienists' Association, first place and a pizza party; Physician Assistant Club, second; and a tie for third between the Outdoor Adventure Club and ACCA. Student Activities thanks all participants for sharing their "Penn College Pride."
