'Cat TalesIdle for about three weeks each over the holiday and semester break, the men's and women's basketball teams return to action in tournaments against NCAA Division III opponents the men against Albright at the Albright Sheraton Tournament and the women against Polytechnic at the Marywood Holiday Classic.
Through 11 games, the Wildcat men have averaged 68 points per game offensively and allowed an average of 92 ppg. Tom Little (Beacon Falls, Conn.) leads what has been a very balanced scoring effort with a 10.6-points-per-game average, while Craig Flint (Port Allegany) and Ryan Scott (Dallastown) are averaging 10.5 and Joe Simon (Renovo) 10.2 ppg.
Through eight games, the Penn College women have averaged 53 points per game on offense and allowed 66. Amanda Ault (Milan) is averaging 17 points per game and, through the last five games, Meagan Morris (Herndon, Va.) has averaged 15 ppg.
