Amanda G. LeClair Named 'Student of the Month' for November
Thursday, November 30, 2006
Amanda G. LeClair, a dental hygiene-health policy and administration major from Reading, has been selected by the Student Government Association as its "Student of the Month" for November.
LeClair chairs the Wildcat Events Board, participates in SGA, is a student liaison with Penn College Food Services and works at the Student Activities desk.
"Amanda should be considered for this award because she gives all that she can to everyone and everything she does. She often takes on more than enough tasks and gets them done with excellence," one of two student nominators wrote. "Incoming students recognize her from being a 'Link' (one of the student leaders in this year's inaugural "Connections" orientation program) and feel very comfortable asking her for help."
"I feel Amanda has led WEB to be an awesome organization on campus," her co-nominator said. "While maintaining great grades, she has led people to achieve their goals."
SGA regularly selects a "Student of the Month" based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Watch PCToday for the next round of nominations.
