Lanczak's baking and pastry arts application class prepared goodies for Friday night's "Sweet Temptations," a fundraising event at the Best Western Inn sponsored by the Lycoming County Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. For a $10 donation, visitors could sample sweet treats made by local businesses. The students made a variety of cookies including chocolate-dipped, sugar-cookie dog bones. The students' centerpiece was a chocolate doghouse, complete with a rolled-fondant puppy and roses in its yard.
