North Campus to Offer Seminar on Business Finances

Would you like to save time and money by computerizing your business or personal finances? If accounting is a challenge for you and computerized accounting is even more of a challenge an all-day seminar on Oct. 4 at Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus may be for you.

Small-business owners, managers and people interested in starting a business will find the seminar helpful. The training will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the North Campus, located three miles east of Wellsboro on Route 6.

The instructor is a certified public accountant who will help participants make the Internet their business consultant, choose computerized accounting packages and master financials for business and personal decisions. Sessions offering tax tips for businesses and hands-on experience with QuickBooks will complete the seminar.

The cost of $175 includes breaks and lunch. The noncredit program is designed specifically for the North Campus and residents of the Northern Tier by Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College. Certificates will be issued upon completion of the seminar. Class size is limited to 15 participants.
