More than 280 students have petitioned to graduate in August from Pennsylvania College of Technology, which will hold a Summer Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Aug. 5 at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.
The student speaker for the ceremony will be Randolph W. Flick, of Howard, who will receive an associate degree in electrical technology from the School of Construction and Design Technologies.
Degrees will be conferred by Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour, accompanied by Board of Directors Chairman Robert E. Dunham.
The college will also present two Mentorship Awards. The Mentorship Awards recognize alumni and businesses that have made significant and/or ongoing contributions to the education and development of Penn College students.
The event will be broadcast live in the Williamsport area on SusCom (the local cable TV provider) Channel 2.
