The sixth annual NRM Golf Invitational, held July 12 at the White Deer Golf Course,raised about $5,000 to fund an endowed scholarship for Penn College's School of Natural Resources Management. Unfazed by rain and well-fed by Le Jeune Chef restaurant, 21 teams comprised of industry representatives and faculty/staff competed. Winning teams were Rudd Equipment, Ransome CAT I, Ransome CAT II and Forest Technology. About $26,000 has been raised through theyearly event; the first student scholarship from those endowed funds was awarded for the Fall 2005 semester.
