OTA Club Finds Tasty Way to Deliver Life Lesson

A student simulates both a visual impairment and the inability to grip a spoon Members of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Club at Penn College hosted a "build your own sundae" event Wednesday in the Bush Campus Center lobby. Those building a sundae were asked to don goggles or use their non-dominant hand while making their ice-cream treat in order to simulate a disability. Occupational therapy is a skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives.
