Students get close-up view of state police helicopter Trooper Chris Royles explains helicopter's role in state police operations Students at Penn College's Lumley Aviation Center in Montoursville had an opportunity Tuesday to view a helicopter: the Bell 206 helicopter, based at the Williamsport Regional Airport and operated by the Pennsylvania State Police. The pilot, Trooper Chris Royles, spoke to aviation students about the helicopter's role in state police operations and answered their questions about the aircraft. ( Photos by William F.
