Would you like to discover your roots and develop a new interest? The North Campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering a noncredit Genealogy Today course in April.
The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 19.
Instructor Patsy Pifer completed an 18-month study with the National Genealogical Society and has shared her knowledge in the classroom at a variety of locations.
Genealogy is one of the fastest-growing hobbies today. Many people have a desire to learn how to research their ancestry to the time when their families arrived in America. This class will provide the tools necessary to get started with a solid foundation.
Cost for the workshop is $79, and registration at least one week before the class begins is required. To register, call the North Campus at (570) 724-7703.
